The Fire and Police Commission
of the
City of Mt. Vernon, Illinois is seeking applicants for the position of
Firefighter.
Starting salary is
approximately $44,000
per year (including holiday pay) with City benefits package.An informational sheet that outlines the

a high school diploma or its equivalent and be between the ages of 21
and 35 on
the date of the test.
